James Fitzpatrick, 22 – who has severe autism and relies on Haringey’s services, with his mother Mary Langan

One of our parent and founder members Mary Langan – fresh from the only Haringey ‘consultation’ meeting  on the cuts focusing on Learning Disability spectrum needs – talking to Eddie Nestor on his BBC London radio show – 06/07/2015.


Also featuring on the the show were Pam Duprey – whose daughter Sharon is a recipient of care from Haringey with Microcephaly – who gave an extremely impassioned description of her situation, and local campaigner Sue Hessel. Both of whom also attended and the Haringey ‘consultation have ties with SASH.


Eddie Nestor also interviewed the Chief Executive of the Carer’s Trust on the issue of cuts in Haringey and the potential for similar measures to be implemented more widely throughout London’s boroughs.
